Our Pastor

A Message from our Pastor’s Desk…

Welcome to the Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church (The Mount) Website, and thank you
for visiting! We are glad you have chosen to spend a few moments browsing, discovering our
church family. I use community, family, and cross-generational as I describe The Mount.
At The Mount, we acknowledge Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We are a group of people, a
community committed to following, living a victorious life in Jesus Christ. That means we teach
biblical principles and precepts with clarity and simplicity. We strive to live the lives that we
sing and talk about! We encourage prayer in church and throughout life. We love people outside
the church through generosity, conversation, invitation, and compassion. We want that for you,
and God wants a people who will worship Him in spirit and truth.

Maybe you’ve been attending church for many years and are looking for a place to serve.
Perhaps you are new in town and are looking for a church home or watch care. Maybe you have
questions about God and life and don’t know where to look for the answers. We are here, no
matter what stage of your life.

Although we have felt the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are now back in in-person worship and continue to offer virtual worship opportunities. However, we must do our part to limit the spread of COVID-19. I encourage cach of you to continue to follow the CDC guidelines and be mindful of your health. Suppose you choose to join us in in-person worship during our services. In that case, we ask that you wear your mask when entering all buildings on our campus, utilize sanitizing stations, and take all other necessary precautions to lower the risk of virus and bacterial transmissions. All worshippers will receive a temperature check as another risk management control. Additionally, we encourage all to get vaccinated as we do our part to lower the risk of COVID-19’s impact on our community.

Finally, I am confident that you will feel loved and welcomed at the Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, but more importantly, seek the truth of God that can only be known when one knows Jesus. We’d love to meet you. We will see you at “The Mount!”

Faithfully,
Rev. Willie James Morgan, Jr.
